I really don't know how to put this into words!!
After 6 absolutely ๐ข๐ฎ๐ข๐ป๐ช๐ฏ๐จ years & with the heaviest of hearts I have to announce that my little flowering business will close its doors for the final time today. I have thought long & very very hard about this incredibly difficult decision, but, with the ridiculous rate of inflation & due to health reasons, I know that I am doing the right thing.
I started my little business 6 years ago with just ยฃ200 & working from a teeny tiny 6x4 shed in the garden with no electricity ๐คฃ The business grew quicker than I ever imagined, meaning I needed a bigger place to get creative in, so, my beautiful studio was finally completed & ready to "move into" 4 days before one of the busiest months - Mother's Day 2019!!
I have had the absolute honour & privilege to create the flowers for SO many of you & for so many different reasons - your stunning weddings, funerals, gift bouquets, corporate, markets, fairs, workshops ๐ค
Over the years, I have met so many truly amazing people - alot of which have become lifelong friends ๐ฅฐ the support I have received over the 6 years has been phenomenal, your loyalty & kind words has really meant so very much to me personally, whether you have commented on, liked &/or shared my posts on social media, ordered or received flowers or for any other reason, thank you so much.
My wholesalers have been amazing, as well as all the other suppliers I have used. To every other business or venue I have had the absolute honour to meet or to of got to work with/at - you have all been utterly fabulous ๐ your support, our chats on messenger, the fun, the laughter, the experiences, the happy memories - all are treasured times. It really has been a lot more enjoyable because of you! Thank you from the bottom of my heart ๐
Last & by certainly not least & thank you really doesn't seem to cut it, thank you to my amazing Husband for encouraging me & giving me the confidence to start up my own business. For being there through the best times & the tough times - every step of the way. For being my rock, water bucket filler upper, tea lady ๐ helping me carry things at weddings, events & markets & for putting up with the tears when I'd been on my feet working non stop for 16 hours ๐ค thank you for everything โค๏ธ
Anyone who I haven't yet been in touch with regarding bookings, please bear with me, I am slowly getting through you all, but I will be in touch in the next several days, thank you for your patience ๐
Well, there we go, that's it ๐ฅบ Thank you all for everything, I couldn't have achieved my lifetime dream of being a florist if it hadn't been for you all.
