d have it taken to the docks and job done. Well no, I check to see if it has any finance outstanding or been repaired under an insurance write off. I inspect for spongy floors, general damp, cracked shower trays, cracked or broken windows and sky lights which cost a fortune to replace, and clean to MAF standards. A good example is Bailey caravans are prone to damp and bad body cracks on the rear panels which lets in water and they also damp around the front windows. Sprite caravans often have severe cracks around the front window with damp making them nearly impossible to repair. And Avondale's have cracks around the front awning rails letting in damp. I would say about 40% plus of the caravans I inspect are to bad to purchase or even attempt a repair. Please do not let this put you off, but it is better to spend a bit of money in the UK and know what is wrong than get a bit of a shock when it arrives in your country then it is to late. And I do see some awful caravans at the docks waiting to surprise their new owners
