When I have purchased properties in the past, I have approached high street banks directly and found that they have an extremely limited choice of products available and their processes can be very cumbersome and “corporate”. Speaking to the same advisor when I had a question became a lottery. I realised at this point that I could do a better job myself by providing personal advice and service and that inspired me to become a financial advisor. Why am I better.... when you call me you don’t get a call centre, you get me, the advisor, or my personal answerphone, and it’s me who calls you back…. As far as the products and services go, I have chosen to work with a network who offer a wide range of lenders and providers so a more tailored solution can be found, I like to talk to clients and discover what is important to them, and then find a solution to their financial needs, lifestyle and budget. As well as finding the solution to purchasing the new property, I also provide solutions for protection, i.e. how you can afford to stay in your property if the “what if” happens…. which has become all the more real over the past year with a Pandemic “changing” how we live ….. I love a challenge and get a real buzz out of turning a stressful and complicated problem into a solution, and one of my greatest solutions is working with my colleagues who may have specialist knowledge that can be used to help my clients. I am a “petrol-head” and have a “classic” car that I have restored over the past few years, hoping to get it out to shows once it is safe to do so. I also love motor racing …Formula E is a great look into the future, just wish they sounded more like cars than toys. I am also pretty handy with a power tool and have built my own Tandoor in the garden and love to cook, both indoors and out….I have combined my interests to start a You tube channel, although I need to spend a little more time on this….one day.
