🏡🏡The Bank of England finally decided to cut the base rate to 5% at its August meeting which is positive news for those looking to borrow money. If you are on a tracker mortgage you will see this change in your monthly repayment straight away, for those who are fixed in, this will not affect your monthly repayments.

‼️There are already mortgage deals out there below 5% - with a number of high street lenders reducing rates, including Nationwide, Natwest and Halifax. There are now products out there starting at 3.81% for a 5 year fix.‼️

I hope everyone had a lovely Easter weekend 🐣 I cannot believe we are already a quarter of the way through the year, it really has gone quickly.

The market certainly seems a lot more stable than it did last year, with mortgage rates feeling more steady.
