While you’re enjoying that extra hour, take a few minutes to check your home’s safety devices:

⚡ Test your RCDs using the ‘T’ or ‘Test’ button on your fuse board. They should trip—reset them afterwards. This briefly cuts power, so choose a suitable time and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

🔥 Test every smoke alarm using its test button and check that each one sounds. Keep testing regularly throughout the year too!

These lights weren’t included in the original installation, so this was completed as a retrofit.

As there wasn’t an existing switch cable in place, we installed a kinetic switch—allowing the customer to control the new lighting without unnecessary damage or disruption to the finished walls.
