๐ Today is Turner Syndrome Awareness Day, and we're shining a light on Turner Syndrome โ a rare chromosomal condition affecting around 1 in 2,000 girls and women, where one of the X chromosomes is partially or completely missing.
Many live with it for years without a proper diagnosis. Without early intervention, it can lead to serious health complications affecting the heart, fertility, growth, and more.
But with awareness, community, and the right support โ lives can truly be transformed. ๐
What is Turner Syndrome?
๐ฌ A genetic condition affecting females
๐ Symptoms include short stature, heart complications & fertility challenges
โณ Often goes undiagnosed for years
๐ Early diagnosis and treatment makes a life-changing difference
Here at Trust Payments, this cause is close to our hearts.
We're proud to stand alongside our colleague Rhian and her incredible daughter Llinos, who lives with Turner Syndrome every day with courage and strength. ๐
That's why this July, Team Trust and some brave clients and partners are taking on a 47km multi-sport endurance challenge in the Lake District โ cycling, kayaking, and summiting Helvellyn โ to raise vital funds for the Turner Syndrome Support Society.
