5 days to go until Etape Caledonia… 🚴‍♂️

I got the bike serviced last week and it's ready to go. Thank you to Cairney Cycles.

Another 61 miles in the legs yesterday and feeling good.

Fundraising’s now getting close to £1,600 for Pancreatic Cancer UK , which is brilliant! I really appreciate all the support so far.

🚴‍♂️ Purdie Pedals for Pancreatic Cancer UK 🚴‍♂️

Many of you will remember our former colleague Derek Purdie. We’re proud to support him taking on the incredible challenge of the Etape Caledonia this May.

This ride is particularly meaningful, as Derek is completing it in memory of David Owen, who was not only the founder of Owen Farm Services but also a close friend of Derek’s from their school days. Derek is raising money to support Pancreatic Cancer UK.

We’re delighted that he has already surpassed his initial fundraising target, which is a brilliant achievement. But with the event just around the corner, we know any additional support would mean a great deal.

If you’re able to, we’d really encourage our clients, friends and wider network to consider sponsoring Derek or sharing his fundraising page. Every contribution helps support vital research and those affected by pancreatic cancer.

2 weeks to go until Etape Caledonia… 🚴‍♂️

A slightly easier week this week. Exactly what was needed after the 70 miler. Legs still ticking over, but giving them a chance to recover properly.

Managed to squeeze in an early morning ride around a busy family weekend… not always easy to juggle, but good to keep the momentum going.

Really pleased to have now gone past the £1,000 target, with the total currently at £1,050 for Pancreatic Cancer UK . I am so grateful for all the support. It’s made a big difference and given me a real lift through the training.

Final couple of weeks now. Focus is on turning up fresh and ready on the 10th!

My home has been peaceful, at least until my kids got home from school! 🤣 Those with a snow day, I hope you're all safe and well!
