We asked Derek to explain what this means to him and his clients -
‘The biggest benefit of the qualification is having a better understanding of how sustainability is becoming part of the mortgage market and being able to explain it confidently when it's relevant to a client's circumstances.
Green finance is becoming increasingly relevant as lenders develop products and incentives, and as running costs and energy efficiency become bigger considerations.
For my clients, it means I can explain green mortgage products, lender incentives, EPC ratings and how a property's energy efficiency could influence the overall cost of home ownership. It helps ensure they're aware of options that may benefit them now or in the future so that they can make informed decisions based on their own priorities.’ 🏡💚🌎

I got the bike serviced last week and it's ready to go. Thank you to Cairney Cycles.

Another 61 miles in the legs yesterday and feeling good.

🚴‍♂️ Purdie Pedals for Pancreatic Cancer UK 🚴‍♂️

Many of you will remember our former colleague Derek Purdie. We’re proud to support him taking on the incredible challenge of the Etape Caledonia this May.

This ride is particularly meaningful, as Derek is completing it in memory of David Owen, who was not only the founder of Owen Farm Services but also a close friend of Derek’s from their school days. Derek is raising money to support Pancreatic Cancer UK.

We’re delighted that he has already surpassed his initial fundraising target, which is a brilliant achievement. But with the event just around the corner, we know any additional support would mean a great deal.
