When I started doing this job, it was never just about policies or paperwork.

It was about helping people feel less confused, less worried, and more in control when it comes to protecting themselves, their families and their businesses.

So when someone takes the time to write words like this, it really does mean the world.

A personal one from me today.
Back in March, my eldest son Harry became seriously unwell.
Harry is 28 and has lived with a lifelong medical condition since birth, so when he started feeling ill, we thought it may be connected to that.
Within 24 hours he had turned bright yellow and was admitted to hospital a few days later.
For nearly 3 weeks, we had no clear answers. We heard words like cancer, liver biopsy and liver transplant.
As parents, we were terrified.
Thankfully, after a biopsy, we found out it was a medication-induced liver injury due to one of the injections he has for his medical condition. Not the outcome we feared, and he’s now recovering and just got back to work.
But it reminded me exactly why I do this job.
Even with his medical condition, Harry has Critical Illness Cover in place. Thankfully, this didn’t result in a claim. But knowing he had that safety net mattered.
Please don’t wait until life gives you a scare.
Life Insurance, Critical Illness Cover and Income Protection are worth looking at sooner rather than later.
