🌌✨ Last week, I received a powerful message from spirit: “We are just energy.” This phrase echoed in my mind like a record on repeat, guiding my thoughts and reflections.

Serendipitously, a friend invited me to meet at the Arnolfini, where I discovered the exhibition “Everything is Energy” by Emma Talbot. It felt like a divine sign, urging me to explore this meaningful experience.

What makes it even more poignant is that the exhibition runs from the day my mother was given her end-of-life notice, culminating on her birthday. This journey through art and spirit feels deeply connected to my own path of healing and remembrance.

In moments like these, the universe reveals its intricate tapestry, reminding us of the energy that binds us all. 💖✨

✨ Yesterday, I received a gentle nudge from spirit to revisit a special grave at Arnos Vale Cemetery in Bristol. Armed with a cleaning kit and a beautiful bouquet, I set off with a heart full of intention.
As my Uber paused at a traffic light, I noticed the number 222 painted on a black bin—a sign of divine guidance.

When I arrived, it was clear that Carmen Beckford’s grave hadn’t been tended to in a while. I had only learned about this incredible woman after my visit in August, and a quick search revealed her inspiring story.

🌿 Carmen Beckford MBE (1928-2016) was born in Jamaica, the eldest of seven, and bravely traveled to the UK at just 17. She trained as a nurse and became a midwife, leaving a lasting impact on her community. Known as the ‘Carnival Queen,’ she was one of the founders of St Paul’s Carnival in Bristol, and she made history as the first Black person to receive an OBE for her dedication to social activism.

Today, I honored her legacy, feeling a deep connection to this amazing soul who fought for race relations and uplifted so many. 💖

In moments like these, we are reminded that we can draw inspiration and strength from those who have walked before us. My visit not only revitalizes her memory but also strengthens the fabric of community and remembrance. It’s a beautiful reminder that we are all part of a larger tapestry, woven together by our shared histories, struggles, and triumphs. May Carmen’s spirit continue to inspire us all to embrace love, unity, and resilience ❤️When I left the cemetery I saw the biggest rainbow 🌈

🌿✨ Beginning November 6th, I will dedicate my Thursday evenings to a course on conscious dying, grief, and the rites of passage that help us navigate the threshold of life and death. This date holds special significance as it marks one year since my beloved mother passed away.

Her departure was a profound loss, yet it has opened a door for me to explore my soul’s purpose and embark on a path of self-development.

Death is often a taboo subject, but through my years in nursing, I’ve come to realize how essential it is to confront it. This journey has raised many questions for me: Will it be painful? What lies beyond this life? What is our purpose here?

As I deepen my spiritual awakening, I’ve started to receive signs from the other side—an ability to connect with those who have passed, including feathers, butterflies, and angel numbers—that provide comfort and guidance. One particular moment that stands out was when I found a feather in an unexpected place, reminding me of my mother’s presence. Through this course, I hope to unravel these mysteries further.

In addition to my current spiritual offerings, I aspire to explore soul midwifery, guiding others through their transitions and ensuring these experiences can be beautiful and meaningful. My vision is to create a space where individuals feel safe and supported as they navigate their own journeys.
