60 colleagues, brokers, suppliers and partners recently joined us at the Forest of Arden Hotel & Country Club for our fourth annual Novuna Charity Golf Day ⛳

This year, we raised funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity close to the hearts of many of our colleagues that provides vital support for people living with cancer and their families.

Through donations, an auction, a raffle and fundraising activities on the day, we raised more than £22,000 including matched funding, helping more people access care when they need it most.

The competition was closely contested, with Richard Huby from Novuna Consumer Finance and Russell Cohen from GlobalPay taking the top spots on the day.

The new Premier League season is almost here – but how much will it cost to follow your club?

New research from Novuna Personal Finance has ranked the most expensive and most affordable clubs to support in 2026/27, based on the cheapest adult season ticket, a home replica shirt, plus a pie and pint across all 19 home league matches.

Premier League champions Arsenal top the table at £1,367.95 per fan, more than £753 above Hull City, the most affordable club to follow. Fans are set to spend more than £1bn on tickets this season, before the matchday extras even get on the scoresheet.

Since 2016/17, the average price of a pie has risen by 58%, while an adult replica shirt is up 56%, both rising faster than inflation.

Britain’s Padel craze is on course to serve up £200 million a year, according to new research from Novuna.

In less than a decade, Padel has grown from a niche pastime into an estimated £180m industry, making it one of Britain’s fastest-growing leisure markets.

📈 More than one million Brits now regularly play Padel, up from around 15,000 in 2019.

👥 Over eight million people say they’d give it a go, suggesting even higher demand.

💷 Regular players could spend £950 a year on courts, coaching and equipment.

The next challenge is keeping pace with demand. With court availability limited, Britain will need the right infrastructure and long-term investment to support Padel’s growth.
