Started trading the last tax year? Register for Self-Assessment by 5 October.

If you became self-employed or started a side business between 6 April 2025 and 5 April 2026, you need to tell HMRC by 5 October 2026.

Missing it can lead to penalties, and it's an easy thing to overlook when you're busy getting a new business off the ground.

👉 Not sure if this applies to you? Get in touch and we'll point you in the right direction.
