🌟 get to know me 🌟

As I’ve had a few new followers recently, I thought it would be good to share some information about myself.

I am 34 years old and live in Somerset with my husband and children.
I have 3 young children, two boys and one girl.
I work 3 days a week in an early years setting and have over 15 years experience working with children.
I am currently studying for a psychology degree.
I prefer w**e over chocolate!
A roast dinner is the ultimate comfort dish!
I got my first camera when I was 14, and my love of photography started then.
A dream of mine would be live in a characterful house or cottage and have a large enough garden for a few chickens.

Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing this family! We waited and waited for some guaranteed sunshine and made a plan for a golden hour session!
The sun did not disappoint…. The gorgeous lighting made this session super easy, and everyone was so relaxed and easy to get along with!!

Ever wondered what the process is between your session and receiving your images? Well here I explain.
Some photographers use AI for speed and efficiency, but I actually enjoy selecting each image, and editing them one by one.
It takes time, but the images feel more personal, the have more meaning.
Thank you for all of your support. Supporting my small, creative business means a lot. 🌟

It was an absolute pleasure photographing Sophie & Dan’s newest addition, a little over a year since they got married! It’s lovely watching a family grow and I feel so grateful families ask me to take their photographs.

A couple of weeks ago I had a last minute email asking if I could photograph an extended family whilst they stayed in Somerset for the weekend.
I was more than happy to step up and meet this fantastic family and capture the celebrations of Pat & Howard.
Their lovely children, partners and young children meant the session was filled with fun, giggles and plenty of love.
With a mixture of formal images and relaxed, candid ones meant there were a great variety for the family to treasure for years to come.
