The truth?
Nobody knows the final January price cap yet.

Yes, there have been forecasts suggesting a substantial increase.
Yes, Martin Lewis has been talking about it.

But forecasts change.
So here's my approach:

❌ Don't ignore it either.

You've probably seen figures being talked about for January energy prices.
Martin Lewis recently highlighted a forecast of around a 24% increase in the January price cap.

But let's be really clear.
It isn't confirmed.
Forecasts move as wholesale energy prices change.
So I'm not going to tell you that your energy WILL go up 24%.

What I am going to say is:
Why wouldn't you investigate your options before January?
Get the information.
See what fixing looks like.
Then make your own decision.
That's far better than panicking in December.

What are your unit rates?
What's your standing charge?
How much energy are you using?
What are you paying for broadband and mobiles?
Could cashback reduce what you're spending elsewhere?
And what would fixing cost compared with staying variable?

Facts. Figures. Then a decision.
