We have recently had a number of queries from homeowners looking to arrange a retrospective PRC certificate to either sell their homes or remortgage.

Information on some websites question the authenticity of some providers of retrospective PRC certificates which can be misleading. The certificates we arrange are from PRC Engineers who have been issuing mortgage approved PRC certificates for over 25 years. In a lot of cases the same PRC Engineers will be issuing the PRC certificate for other companies offering retrospective PRC certificates.

We charge a fixed fee of £995 inc vat for the inspection and certificate. We are aware of other companies charging £500 or more than our fees for the inspection and issuing the PRC certificate.

Before you spend the extra £500 it would be worth checking if you are going to receive exactly the same PRC certificate from the same PRC Engineers.
