🎉 We turned 2! 🎉

And we couldn't think of a better way to celebrate than spending the whole weekend at Gloworm Festival🎪☀️ Monster Mortgages officially hit the big 2 while we were out there in the field — and even better, we got to share the celebrations with Gloworm as they marked their 10th birthday too! Two birthdays, one incredible weekend 🥳

Fun fact: this was our 3rd year as a sponsor of Gloworm Festival! 🙌

We handed out balloons and our logo bugs all weekend, and they went down SO well we actually ran out! 🎈🐛 Safe to say the Monster Mortgages bugs were a hit with the festival crowd.

It was amazing getting to chat with so many people over the weekend and soak up all the festival vibes with the team.

Fun fact #2: we weren't officially entered into the fancy dress competition... but if we HAD been, we're pretty confident Hannah's incredible "Up" house costume would've taken the crown 🏠🎈 (okay, maybe we're a little biased 😅)

Our owner and director, Stephen, has just completed his Certificate in Financing Greener Homes, delivered by the Green Finance Institute and Lloyds Banking Group, and accredited by LIBF!

So what does that actually mean for you? 🤔

With the temperatures rising this week, don't forget that our four-legged friends feel the heat too. 🐶☀️

At Monster Mortgages, we're a team of dog lovers, so here's a little reminder to help keep your fur babies safe during the heatwave.

A few things our very own Head of Barketing, Harper, would like you to remember:

🐶 Take us for walkies early in the morning or later in the evening when it's cooler.

💧 Keep our water bowls topped up. Ice cubes are highly recommended.

🌳 Make sure we've got plenty of shade and a cool spot to relax.

🐾 If the pavement is too hot for the back of your hand, it's too hot for our paws.

🚗 Please, please NEVER leave us in a parked car. Not even for "just five minutes". Cars can become dangerously hot incredibly quickly – even with the windows cracked open.

❄️ Frozen treats, paddling pools and extra cuddles are all acceptable methods of cooling us down.

Did you know? The RSPCA says dogs are 10 times more likely to suffer heat-related illness from exercising in hot weather than from being left in hot cars. It's a powerful reminder that sometimes the kindest thing you can do is skip the lunchtime walk and wait until it cools down.

⚽ Proud to support at Southwell City FC Wolves U9s Presentation Day! 🏆

Monster Mortgages was proud to be part of a fantastic day celebrating the players, coaches and families at Southwell memorial ground. Great to see the team recognized for all their hard work this season and collect their end-of-season awards 👏

We were also glad our gazebo could help keep everyone sheltered from the wind and a few brief showers throughout the day 🌦️

Community matters to us, and supporting local grassroots football is something we’re proud to be involved with.
