Pictured: Our purchase of the year! The old Royal Mail sorting office in the centre of Hinckley.
As we say goodbye to 2025, he’s what we’ve achieved this year;
- We purchased 10 additional properties 🏠
- Grown our property portfolio by around £5m 💰
- Reached and surpassed 200 tenants
- Doubled the staff in the office which has resulted in a 99% occupancy rate
- Gone bigger and better with our projects, including multiple large commercial buildings, which when complete will add another 128 tenants to our portfolio
- Appeared on Homes under the hammer multiple times
- Diversified into the gym industry with our first gym set to open on 01/01/26, very excited about this.
Looking forward to 2026, here’s what to expect; 🚀
- Potential slow down in purchases, this is because we’ve got enough projects to last us into 2027 already! And we have 2 large commercial buildings we’re only just submitting now to planning which won’t start until 2027. So we’ll only buy if we get a whopping bargain!
- Keep going, but refining, with our rapid growth I want to ensure we’re constantly improving our procedures and professionalism when it comes to tenants, management and as well as site management.
- Increase our team; we have an amazing team but we need more people if we want to take on more.
- Increase our social media and website presence. We’ve just employed a social media manager for the gym who will be all over Investment Street in the new year so watch this space
- Podcast; releasing more content
- Obtaining more Urban gyms! I feel this is something we can really scale up. Already got another site secured. I’m hoping to obtain at least 2 further gyms this year. 💪🏼
Note: Urban Gym is owned by our owner, Oliver Mcloughlin. Investment Street has no interest directly in Urban Gym. It is a completely separate company.
