And apparently I’m not the only one thinking about Christmas already 😂🎄🏡

Historically, September is one of our busiest months… and it makes sense.

Everyone suddenly realises they either want to be IN the new house before Christmas 🎄🔑

OR…

They want to start getting everything lined up now so 2027 is the year they finally get those new keys 🏡✨

So while drinking wine and making questionable Rightmove decisions… 😂🍷

We’re helping everyone else make slightly more sensible ones.

From Magaluf ➡️ mortgages 😂🥂🏡

If you’d told us when we met on holiday that one day we’d be married, working together 24/7 AND running a mortgage company… absolutely not. 😂

But somehow, here we are.

North to South FS was never built with a huge investment, a ready-made client bank or some genius business plan.

It was built from scratch, by two normal people who wanted to make mortgages feel a little less scary, a lot less corporate and actually make people feel looked after. 🤍

And behind the mortgages? We’re also running a business, managing a team, answering emails, dealing with compliance, filming reels, making stories and trying to work out what Instagram wants from us this week. 😂

Some days it’s amazing.
Some days it’s REALLY hard.
Most days it’s both.

But every completion photo, review, returning client and recommendation reminds us why we keep doing it.

Next month we celebrate 5 years of North to South FS. Hundreds of clients helped. And still just the same two idiots who met in Magaluf. 🥹🥂

Not just what a lender says you CAN borrow.

Because when you’ve worked out your budget, you’ve probably included the mortgage, council tax, gas, electric, food…

The random little spends that make up your actual life.

We’ll even go through your bank statements with you to save you the job and get a proper idea of what you realistically spend.

We’ll also look at the mortgage rate you’re actually likely to be eligible for, rather than relying on a rate you’ve spotted online that may not apply to your circumstances.

Then we work backwards from your comfortable monthly payment to your mortgage and property budget.

We did exactly the same with our own mortgage.

Because having the home you wanted but no money left to actually enjoy your life was never the goal🤍
