Meet the Agent!

👉 How long have you been an Agent for NFU Mutual?
I’ve been an Agent for 24 years and alongside four other business partners and a fantastic staff team we together run the North and East Down agency. What's great is we all bring something different to the table in skill set and personality.... I usually bring the buns!

👉 What is the best thing about working in the local community?
Working in my own local community means I'm helping people I genuinely care about and rub shoulders with every day. These are my neighbours, friends and local businesses. I understand the challenges they face, and it's a privilege to support them and build lasting relationships.

👉 What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. Take the time to find what matters to them.

👉 Are you a morning person or a night owl?
Neither…. think I peak mid-day!

👉 If you could have any animal as a pet, what would you choose?
Already have her – Molly our dog, who has just the best personality 🐶🥰

👉 If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Sweet Chilli Mackerel on sourdough toast – and yes everyone in the office apparently hates it! 😋

Meet the Agent!

👉 How long have you been an Agent for NFU Mutual?
I have been an Agent for NFU Mutual since October 2001, so have nearly completed 25 years!

👉 What is your favourite part of your job?
I enjoy working within the agency and seeing members of the team develop and grow. However, I also enjoy getting out and meeting clients, both new and existing, getting to know them and understanding their insurance needs.

👉 What is the most interesting thing your job has taught you?
I think that I have learned many things, certainly not to judge a book by its cover, but definitely the importance of listening to others and learning from them.

👉 If you could have any celebrity as your best friend, who would it be?
I think Jemery Clarkson would be a pretty good celeb friend.

👉 If you could swap lives with anyone for a day, who would it be?
Probably a professional sport person, someone like Rory McIllory just to see what their world is like.

👉 Are you a morning person or a night owl?
Definitely a morning person – up early, best part of the day!
