Market ups and downs can feel uncomfortable.

When values move quickly, it’s natural to feel cautious or want to step back.
The challenge is that periods of recovery can sometimes follow more difficult markets.

Staying invested is not about ignoring risk. It's about recognising how hard it is to time markets and focusing on long term goals.

A steady approach shaped around your situation can help you stay aligned with what you're working towards.

If you’d like to talk about how this applies to you, let’s chat.

AI can be great at explaining things. But when it comes to retirement decisions, confidence doesn’t always mean accuracy.

Technology can help you get to grips with a topic, especially when you’re starting out. What it can’t always do is understand your personal circumstances well enough to provide the right financial decision for you.

AI tools can sometimes produce incorrect or outdated information. These so‑called ‘hallucinations’ can sound convincing, even when they’re wrong. That means automated answers may feel reassuring, but they don’t come with the protections that regulated advice can offer.

A real conversation gives you space to talk through your plans, priorities and concerns. That human understanding can make a meaningful difference when you’re thinking about your future.

Social media can be full of confident voices talking about money.

Some posts make investing sound quick or low risk. Others may promise eye catching returns or pressure you to act fast.

Not all online financial content is regulated, and if something goes wrong the protection may be limited.

Taking a moment to check who is authorised and what you're being offered can help reduce the risk of unpleasant surprises.

When it comes to your money, informed, regulated advice can help provide far greater protection than social media hype.

As I was doing bedtime with my boys last night I found myself reflecting on my own journey in business and this industry so far.

There have been plenty of knocks, lessons, moments of self-doubt and times where I’ve had to pick myself back up and keep going. Business requires a huge amount of emotional resilience.

And it made me think about financial resilience too.

Because whilst money is important, what I really believe financial planning can help create is stability, options, breathing space and confidence when life inevitably throws challenges our way.

As I lay there tonight thinking about what I want most for my boys as they grow up, one of the biggest things is resilience — emotionally, mentally and financially.

Not perfection.
Not never making mistakes.
But the ability to keep going, adapt, learn and build a life with choices and foundations underneath them.

That’s a huge part of why I love what I do.

Hi, I’m Leigh 👋

Alongside being a Financial Adviser, I’m also a mum to two little boys and someone who deeply understands the importance of building security, resilience and future choices.

I’m passionate about building meaningful, lasting relationships with women and helping them feel more confident around money and financial planning — not through jargon or pressure, but through honest conversations, education and guidance.

For me, financial planning isn’t just about products or numbers on a page. It’s about helping create greater freedom, confidence and opportunities for both this generation and the next.

Whether you’re navigating business, motherhood, retirement planning, investing, rebuilding or simply wanting to feel more organised financially, you’re very welcome here 💛

I had a conversation recently that really reminded me why I love what I do.

Someone shared with me that years ago, following Financial advice they received at the time, they started regularly putting money aside and investing for their future — despite there always being other things competing for their attention and finances.

Back then, the future probably felt far away and those contributions may not have seemed particularly significant month to month.

Fast forward to today, and those small, consistent decisions may now give them more options and flexibility for the next chapter of their life.

It made me smile because so many of the conversations I have with people can feel like we’re talking about a version of themselves far into the future. But often it’s the habits, consistency and small decisions made today that quietly shape tomorrow.

Not because life always goes perfectly to plan — but because giving your future self more choices can be incredibly powerful.

Understanding money should feel clear, not overwhelming.

This Global Accessibility Awareness Day is a reminder of how important it is that financial information is easy to understand and accessible to everyone.

Many people can find financial information difficult to engage with. How it's written, presented or explained can affect how confident someone feels asking questions, weighing up options or making decisions about their money.

In financial planning, accessibility often starts with clear language. That means explaining things simply, avoiding jargon and offering information in different formats. It also means recognising that people’s needs and preferences can change over time.

When financial information is easier to understand, it can help people feel more informed, included and in control of their financial decisions.

Everyone’s situation is different. Speaking with an adviser can help you explore your options in a way that reflects your individual needs and circumstances.

When life starts moving faster, money can quietly feel harder to keep on top of.

As your career develops, family life changes or new milestones appear, your finances can begin to feel more complicated. What once felt straightforward may now come with more questions and more responsibility.

Financial planning isn’t about reacting to everything happening right now. It’s about helping you understand where you’re heading and what you might need along the way. It can include thinking ahead to retirement, making sense of workplace pensions, or considering how to protect the people who rely on you.

You don’t have to work everything out at once to start feeling clearer about where you’re heading. Taking a step back to look at the bigger picture can help you feel more in control and less overwhelmed. A well thought through plan can bring reassurance, helping today’s decisions feel more connected to what matters to you long term.

If your life has changed recently, or you feel like your finances deserve a little more attention, having a conversation about the bigger picture could be a helpful place to start.

Feeling unsure about investing is more common than you might think.

Markets can seem complex and the language unfamiliar. News headlines can add to the uncertainty.

Confidence can often matter as much as money. Taking time to understand what you're doing can make investing feel more manageable.

You don't need to know everything at once. Learning gradually and taking small, considered steps can help you move forward with confidence.

If you’d like guidance at your own pace, I’m here to help.
