Over the past few days, I’ve been on a real learning curve—understanding the difference between conservation areas and Grade II listed buildings, and what you can and can’t do with each.
Our upcoming commercial project sits within a conservation area, which actually gives us more flexibility compared to a listed building, especially when it comes to internal works.
It’s all part of getting prepared, understanding the constraints, and making smart decisions before moving forward.
Every deal is a lesson, and this one is sharpening our knowledge even further.
