Amazing family and fulfilment day today.

Started off with Race stepping in between the posts to help out Trawden Celtic under 10’s and being awarded opposition Man of the Match along with lots of positive feedback from everyone. Was so proud of him especially as it’s was with a whole new team than he is used to being the goalkeepr for. Huge thanks to Crossy, Kersh & the team at East Lancashire Goalkeeping Academy

Culminated in 2 hours at Pendle Ski Club with Ben and Geoff coaching snowboarding this afternoon in the sun.

Rounded off by a full roast chicken dinner and a date with a hot bath full of salts to ease my aching bones!!!!

What an honour once again to have been asked to help at the annual Rotary Club of Burnley held at Towneley Hall, Historic House, Art Gallery & Museum in the park for the Classic vehicle show.

It was fabulous to be asked to judge a couple of classes too. Well done to all the winners. There certainly was an eclectic mix of vehicles from the white McLaren 720s to my personal favourite the 1991 VW Golf Gti Sportline.

I even had an advert in the Morgan’s Yearbook (thanks to Clifford Smith Sutcliffe)

What an inspiring idea Sacred Heart RC Primary have here. I love seeing initiatives like this.

One of the biggest lessons we can teach children isn't just how to earn money, but how to manage it, invest it, take calculated risks and understand that money can be a tool to create opportunities.

Starting with just £5 and learning how to turn it into something more is a fantastic way to introduce real-life skills such as budgeting, marketing, teamwork, planning, problem solving and entrepreneurship.

Many of the concepts these Year 6 pupils will be learning over the next 7 weeks are the very same principles used by business owners, investors and financial planners every day.

Who knows, amongst these budding entrepreneurs there could be future accountants, business owners, designers, marketers, financial advisers... or even the next Alan Sugar! 💷📈

I can't wait to see what they come up with and which team manages to grow their £5 the furthest.

Good luck to all the Year 6 entrepreneurs. I have a feeling there may be some very creative business ideas heading our way over the next few weeks! 🚀
