The new NX8 3 wt 11ft passed its day on the broadlands beat of the test French nymphing style

A second now out of season salmon a large trout and some lovely grayling made good fishing in lovely weather before the deluge

The weight of the rod made for easy fishing all day. The salmon was caught in shallow very fast water on a size 14 nypmph and .14 fc 403 fluorocarbon. It went a long way downstream so it was a tough battle to the net

Great test for it though!
