First time buyer...?

Not sure if it’s the right time....?

Sky news posted an article with 3 reasons why now is a good time, and I couldn’t agree more...!

* Firstly, there's no guarantee that house prices will fall, especially in highly sought-after areas where there are more people looking to buy than sell.

* Secondly, if interest rates continue to rise, a mortgage could become more expensive, especially if you were considering getting a fixed rate mortgage which could be fixed at a lower rate today.

* Thirdly, during tough times, banks have made it tougher to qualify for a mortgage, so again there's a risk that it might not be as easy to qualify for the mortgage offers on the market today.

Feel good Friday....! I had some extremely happy customers this week, especially the below clients!

Application submitted to Halifax and offer produced within 24 hours..! This is the kind of things we as mortgage brokers aren’t always raving about it’s normally the negatives!

There are some simple plain sailing mortgage cases from time to time believe it or not! And not all banks are inundated with applications, so don’t be put off, things are often good...!

INCOME PROTECTION is your answer.....

Protecting your income if you were unable to work is something everyone (in my opinion) should consider and what the impacts of this would be for you and your family.

I myself have a young family and knowing if anything were to prevent me or my partner from working we would still in fact be in receipt of income it’s one less thing to loose sleep over at night or worry about..!

I know personally now that I’ve sorted my will out this is one of the toughest decision that people find when making wills. However, it may be the most important. Without plans in place, you could find your children placed in to the care of the court. Knowing this would happen made me sort my will out instantly as I wasn’t aware this could ever happen!

Making a will may mean difficult choices, but it also means making provisions for your children.

I don’t think people quite realise how happy it makes me and other brokers when we get these sort of thank you gifts!

Buying your first home or second home for that matter can be such a stressful time, but to know I made it stress free for these guys is amazing!

I recently went self employed for mortgage 1st and couldn’t be happier.
