This Tuesday, Bitcoin made its debut on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) as an ETF , after the United States Securities and Exchange Commission accepted the first exchange-traded BTC futures fund. This caused the cryptocurrency to reach its historical record price above $ 64,000 again today and it continues to rise!

Facebook launched its digital wallet for cryptocurrencies, called Novi, in most of the United States and one Central American nation on Tuesday.
The wallet will allow users to send money in a standalone app or in messaging platforms like Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp, the company said.
"The purpose of the pilot is for us to affirm our readiness and show that our Novi systems ... are serving customers well," Novi chief David Marcus said in a statement.
Novi was rolled out on Tuesday in most of the United States and Guatemala, officials said.
Facebook said the rollout is a small pilot to test the new digital crypto wallet, which deals in the Paxos Dollar and is managed by Coinbase.
The company started the pilot on Tuesday, however, without the Diem -- which is Facebook's own planned cryptocurrency. Facebook announced in December that it was switching the name of its payment system from Libra to Diem.

With the U.S. economy slowing and inflation rising, there are growing fears of stagflation, a combination of stagnant economic growth and high inflation. The example that comes immediately to mind for most people is the late 1970s and early 1980s, when inflation, interest rates and unemployment all surged to double digit rates, far outpacing real growth in gross domestic product.

Inflation is accelerating faster than real growth, but that’s not unusual historically, and it doesn’t necessarily mean the trend will continue.

In a video posted to his YouTube channel Tuesday morning, Rep. Jeff Fortenberry (R-NE) said he expects to be indicted for lying to the FBI about a scheme to funnel foreign donations to his campaign.

“About five-and-a-half years ago a person from overseas illegally moved money to my campaign—I didn’t know anything about this—and used some other Americans to do so. They were all caught and punished, thankfully, ” Fortenberry explained in the video, which he recorded in his pickup truck, with his wife and dog in the frame. After a 2019 interview with the FBI, he said, “they’ve accused me of lying to them and are charging me with this.”

U.S. stocks rose on Friday and the Dow scored its biggest weekly percentage gain since June, as Goldman Sachs rounded out a week of strong quarterly earnings for the big banks.

The operation in the quiet town of Rockdale was part of an already bustling US business -- now boosted by Beijing's intensified crypto crackdown that has pushed the industry west.
Experts say rule of law and cheap electricity in the United States are a draw for bitcoin miners, whose energy-gulping computers race to unlock units of the currency.
"There's a lot of competitors coming into Texas because they are seeing the same thing (as) when we came here," said Chad Everett Harris, CEO of miner Whinstone, which operates the Rockdale site owned by US company Riot Blockchain.
China was the undisputed heartland of crypto mining with about two-thirds of global capacity in September 2019, but last month Beijing declared illegal all transactions involving crypto money as it seeks to launch one of its own.
