Some people have enquired for February so here are my dates if you want to get booked in for any home maintenance work send my page a little message.

Prices start from my minimum call out fee of £25 an hour

With all enquiries ill give an idea of how many hours it would take and will always keep you up to date on the day, those who have had work done with me, know I dont take advantage of this hourly rate and will do as much as possible in them hours to keep costs affordable for you.

All maintenance jobs - hanging accessories/TV's/lights or laying wooden flooring/skirting boards or internal doors - bathroom reseal or tap replacements.

I DONT do -
plastering
Full bathroom fitting
Tiling
Any garden work
Not because am not capable but because they are much bigger jobs than I wish to take on.

New year refresh & restart 🛠

Little business update - ive decided to pick things back up again, the reason, mainly because i enjoy projects and little jobs and my substansive role can be tempremental, i tested things late last year (thank you to those regular customers who welcomed me back 🙏) it reminded me how much I enjoyed this work and the customers i get to work for 🛠

Ive also had a little rebranding, honestly this is because I feel there are a few negatives associated with the word "handyman", I know i offer high quality work, I am reliable and probably undercharge more than overcharge but am happy with my prices and this doesnt reflect my work as the reviews will show, but the wording just didnt feel right anymore.

Going forward the best way to describe what I do is Home Maintenance, the jobs that need repairing or replacing am there for you. As always work which requires safety certificates such as gas I dont and wont be doing or plastering, ill always be open and honest and never give things a try unless I tell you first, but there are plenty of amazing trades around who can help you with specific requests, some am happy to recommend.

I will be making some changes to ensure I still have a good balance but i have lots of avaliablility, if you have anything you want doing get in touch my January 2026 dairy is open.

We are hidden up high overlooking the area with no passing traffic, peaceful and relaxing but only a 5 minute stroll should you want to enjoy the facilities on offer 🥰

January has been great for meeting new and repeat customers 🙌 thank you! I haven't changed however I still forget pictures often 🤣 here are a few I remembered to take

Full transparency - a customer asked for a price list.

Some jobs are more bespoke and for those I would always like to assess the job before quoting, sometimes they include material costs and travel, it's not possible to put on a price list but I always break down my quote.

With my hourly rate I will always give a ballpark time or cap it regardless so not to have an open ended clock ticking away.

If customers want more than 1 TV hanging I will switch to my hourly rate rather than charge per unit.

If a customer has 3 units that need resealing I charge 3 for the price of 2.

For smaller flooring jobs (cupboard / en-suite) or lino I charge the hourly rate.
