The Viajante Lamp is a bespoke wall-mounted luminaire developed for a London hospitality project. Its angulated steel bracket is expressed as a deliberate geometric gesture, while the drum shade conceals a hand-finished oxidised copper interior, a material choice that transforms the quality of emitted light, producing a warm amber tone suited to the intimate atmosphere of the space.

Arc Polo Farm — borrowed scenery.
The masterplan draws on the Japanese concept of shakkei, organising an arc-shaped route around a central polo field. At its heart, a timber clubhouse reinterprets the language of rural barns, opening onto a veranda that frames long views across the landscape. Lightweight interventions are carefully inserted within the existing topography, reinforcing connections between architecture and nature while establishing a cohesive and measured presence within the rural setting.

Songdo Library — a civic ecosystem.
The project is shaped by the interaction between a central garden and a stepped interior agora, forming a continuous public landscape for learning and gathering. Enclosed within an engineered timber shell, the building balances material efficiency with a sense of civic presence. The integration of interior and exterior spaces expresses a contemporary approach to sustainability, where technology, environment, and culture are brought into close dialogue.

Burwood Road — an urban architecture.
Located in Melbourne, this project reworks a 19th-century shophouse through a contemporary rear extension. Within a constrained inner-city site, a mix of apartments and a townhouse are arranged around a central courtyard above retail. A finely articulated screen of gold fins mediates privacy and light, animating the façade while establishing a clear contrast between heritage and new intervention.

Pieds dançants — movement as form.
Named after the ballet term for dancing feet. Four tapered legs splay outward from a chamfered walnut top, the arched apron between them echoing the posture the name suggests. Made in-house at DROO for Londrino restaurant, London.

HELIX — Kolašin, Montenegro.
A multifunctional parking structure embedded in an alpine landscape. The curved volume responds to the site’s topography through a looped circulation system, tiered overhanging roofs, and integrated retail and civic spaces that activate the public realm at street level.

A Reinvented Architecture — heritage redefined.
Redeveloped into a 5-star hotel, serviced apartments, and conference facilities, this listed building is carefully reimagined through a sensitive contemporary approach. Original features are preserved and revealed, while a new roof extension emerges as an abstracted veil; less an addition, more a backdrop that reframes the existing structure. Traditional craftsmanship and motifs are reinterpreted through advanced design and fabrication, giving renewed life to this richly layered and eclectic landmark.

Since joining the studio in 2021, she has contributed to projects of varying scales and complexities — from leading large-scale hospitality developments in the Middle East to delivering high-end residential schemes in London, as well as heritage and cultural projects across Europe.

A rigorous and didactic thinker, Clara consistently demonstrates leadership, business acumen, and a strong design vision. As Lead Architect on major international commissions, she brings creativity, precision, and clarity to every stage of delivery. Alongside her project and client-facing responsibilities, she has played a key role in mentoring team members and supporting the growth of the studio.

Castle Lane - an architecture revisited.
This residential development in London reinterprets the traditional bow window through curved glass volumes that extend outward, enlarging living spaces and creating a semi-external spatial experience. Inserted within a historic conservation setting, the project uses familiar materials in a contemporary way to establish a clear dialogue between past and present.
