We invest in property but, more importantly, in people. Our goal is to provide funds to individuals who we believe have the passion, professionalism and ideas that deserve to have access to finance - without the hassle!

For this project, having met the borrower, we were confident he could achieve his aims.

We lent both purchase and development funds for units in Gloucester, Bath and Bristol and took a first charge on two of the sites and a second charge on the third.

The borrower successfully enhanced the residential units and leased the shops to a well-known high street restaurant chain, a food retailer and a boutique.

Covid has impacted property development as hard as any industry. For one of our clients, it was incredibly tough.

In the midst of the pandemic their existing lender went bankrupt, and they need to quickly and painlessly refinance their funding on a development of 9 flats in Sandbanks.

We were happy to step in and provide the £3.9 million funding, securing a first charge over the site.

The project is now complete and initial flats have already been sold. The loan has also been redeemed in full this week. A truly positive conclusion for both lender, and borrower, in very difficult times.

This is our third deal with this borrower, and we have already signed the 4th!

This is a 2 house project we personally developed in Radlett so we know all the ins, outs and hurdles that property developers have to deal with.
