Having removed the temporary accommodation in Gate Street, our focus is now on the removal of the supporting scaffold. Whilst we have commenced these works during the normal working hours in order to minimise the impact on our neighbours, it will be necessary to remove the scaffold sections nearest to the narrow pedestrian footpaths at the weekend starting this coming Sunday (23 June). This is the... next stage in the process to be able to re-open the area for public use.

Furthermore, cleaning of the stone will also be carried out this Sunday which involves the application of low pressure water to the facade, as we have done for each of the other facades to date.

The same measures will apply as previous weekends however, if there are any queries about these works, please do not hesitate to contact the project team on 0207 242 3645 or via [email protected]. You can also contact John Rafferty (Senior Site Manager) who will be present on the day of the works. Contact number 07917 173 441.
