This week is RAG (Raising And Giving) week.

What does this mean?

South Bank SU RAG will feature an exciting number of events throughout the week from 29th March to 2nd of April. The purpose of such events is to provide entertaining and fun activities for students while raising funds for charity. Such events include but are not limited to; A Jar of Hope and Karaoke Friday. One might ask why should students participate and donate. Well, the donations made are given to Charities such as Centrepoint, Stand Alone and Show Racism the Red Card. During this time, especially, that donations are needed. While many of us are fortunate to have shelter, family and friends, others are isolated, homeless and alone. Donations made will go a long way, in helping to fund charities, that help people in such situations. Let us as students of LSBU, come together during this week, to not only have fun but to donate, to help an estranged student, a homeless person or tackle racism.
We look forward to seeing you and raising funds.
