I thoroughly enjoyed presenting at last weeks Surrey Property and Poppadoms event.

The feedback that I received from the 20 property investors in attendance was very positive about the content within the presentation on understanding and getting started in providing housing for vulnerable people in the specialised supported housing arena.

🦵😬This is really a kick in the teeth for hard working people. 🦵😬

Don’t forget that that the personal homes 🏡 that people have bought for themselves to live in are also classed as assets. There are many people who worked hard in their life to be able to purchase assets or invest in assets such as property to earn rental income or just use it as a nest egg 🪺 for the retirement.

I have worked hard in the last couple years to in order to buy the properties 🏘️ that I have bought. It is really disappointing when someone just doesn’t recognise that people actually do work hard to invest and generate their own income from assets rather than relying on a check from an employer or a government.

What is more annoying 🙎‍♂️ is that investors are actually doing the government’s job for them in providing housing for people be that to buy or rent. This is actually infuriating when you consider that the government cannot provide for the people that need it the most like the learning disability and autistic people that we help. 🤷‍♂️

Lets see what happens when the government shows their hand in the Autumn budget. Hopefully it will not be another round of Truss economics!😬 What ever the government does will always create more opportunity for an experienced creative property investor!

💥💥I am Absolutely BUZZING! 💥💥

We have finally received not 1 BUT 2x letters of support on the same day. The hard work, belief and tirelessly networking has paid off again. This time for our partnership with a developer.

This is the first concrete step in making these 2x Specialised Supported Housing schemes a reality to provide Homes for Life to people with Learning Disability and Autism conditions. I cannot wait to bring all of the other key stakeholders on board to bring this to fruition!

In total we will be making these a reality together:
✅ 3x Fully Wheelchair accessible bungalows
✅ 9x Bungalows
✅ 6x Flats

I have just had an amazing meeting with a set of adult extra care commissioners to discuss 2x learning disability and autism specialised supported housing scheme proposals that we submitted.

They were well impressed the level of thought and preparation that has gone into these schemes. They have a high demand for this type of accommodation and have pledged their support for the scheme.

They were really interested in our thoughts on modular homes and would like a further meeting with us to further explore this housing methodology.

They have also added us to their developers list to receive further communications on la d availability.

This set of commissioners were the most organised, forward thinking, anti-Bureaucratic duo that I have worked with thus far. Long may it last.

🌿 **Exciting Collaboration for Change!** 🌿

I had the pleasure of meeting with two care providers, a local authority's Learning Disability and Autism commissioners and a modular home provider at their demonstration unit. 🏡

The modular home provider showcased the incredible flexibility of their homes, their BOPAS accreditation, their commitment to sustainability and carbon capture, and the profound social impacts they aim to achieve. ♻️🌍

What started as a meeting quickly became a powerful collaboration, as the commissioners outlined key challenges they face. Together, we brainstormed solutions, aligning our efforts to create real impact in our community. 💡🤝

We’ve set clear actions to move forward and already locked in a follow-up meeting. Feeling energized by the possibility of what we can achieve working together!

🎉 **Great Evening at the Property Networking Event!** 🏡🍻

I had an amazing time at the **Orange Tree Pub** in **Richmond** for an informal property networking event. It was fantastic to connect with fellow property professionals, share insights, and enjoy some great conversations in a relaxed setting.

A big thank you to everyone who came along—it was great meeting such a diverse group of people from across the property world. Looking forward to staying in touch and building on these new connections! 🤝

I am looking forward to a follow up meeting today with a connection made at this event!
