Hello freedomers!
Every single time I came back from my travels (that was on and off in my mid-20s/30s in between jobs) and walked by all the nice offices in London one thought inevitably crossed my mind: "slavery". No disrespect to office workers, I was actually on my way to the office 😅.
But I knew that that couldn't be my life until old age. Yet most people already thought I was "lucky" to be able to travel that much.
The word lucky really annoyed me cause guess what, I worked to earn that money just like anyone else. How you choose to spend your money isn't luck.
Anyway. How could I possibly want more freedom than I already had?! Because to me that lifestyle seems like a fancy jail. People even fight to get to work in those super cool offices... What the heck!
Last weekend I read an article reminding me that, so I thought I'll share.

Hello freedomers!
You might have heard we're getting no-deposit, 100% mortgages in the UK, first time since 2008!
This is indeed good news for 1st time buyers who are splurging on rent (since the loan is capped to your monthly rent for max 35y) and who don't mind pay 5.49% interest for 5 years fixed.
That news prompted me to do a little googling to find historical mortgage rates data and here's what I found. 👁️

Trading results this week see me back down 1.4%, I've added a * cause I truly was only 1/2 there so I could have totally avoided that 🫣
If you want more details.... 👇
- I didn't trade Monday cause it was bank holiday and had family over for both my and my baby's birthday (🥳🥳)
- I re-started slowly on Tues and missed the best trade (I was lagging like an indicator 😅)
- I took a lower probability trade after missing that (1 of my classic mistakes!) and it was a loser
- I traded the next day but the market wasn't moving
- I couldn't have managed any trades during the Feds Interest rates yet I decided to let the bot fully-manage them... it didn't go my way and I was down 2.5%!🤷‍♀️
- and finally I missed another good set-up Friday
Overall it wasn't that bad considering all the above... trading is the only job/business where you can see right away the repercussions of a half-*ssed job - reality check ✅🦵😅
Monday is another bank holiday in the UK (coronation day 👑) but no excuses next week, I'm back 💯
New additions to the geeky slide: monthly/daily returns and biggest trade in R (=number of gains compared to initial risk) - I'm hoping it helps with transparency 🪟

Aaaaand... we're back 🆙☝️
Finally a positive trading week for the last week of April - and most of the gains were actually on my birthday, so glad I traded woop woop🥳

I'm on a losing streak! This happens to EVERYONE - beginner to expert, the only difference is that most people don't like to share it so openly ;)
A bit sad it's happening on my birthday month but hey... gifts coming soon 🥳🎁
Reminder that I recently raised my risk so I'm also losing a higher amount than usual, however I look forward to bigger gains too 🤑

This month didn't start well - but this is the REALITY of trading and I'm here to teel you!
This will happen to everyone especially in the beginning, no way out. Losses are part of trading and you just need to know that in the long run you've got an edge, and be able to manage the emotional up and downs that come with trading.
Yes online traders are always making more than you... but are they really? ;)
It was a bit unlucky for me as at the same time I raised my risk so the number is a little higher than usual, however we should expect bigger gains too when the market's on my strategy side.

Hello freedom fam 🗽
This was an educational trading week again! Because of the US Daylight savings still been misaligned with UK times, I have kept trading LESS, and yet the results are still great, sitting at 1.5% with only 3 trades! In short: I was checking the charts less, relaxing more, and making gains.💥
I was aware that my strategy is quite rudimental in a way, it's semi-automated so it takes a lot of trades that aren't top probability, but 'experiencing' similar results with less stress and less trades really is making me think! I should spend some time refining it and it could make a big difference with passing the famous trading challenges to get funded.
Now of course I need to find the time to do that... It took me a while to test this strategy since it's on low timeframes and I tested a whopping 10 years of it.. including a couple of variations 🤕 but I think it could be really worth it, especially to reduce stress which is a big factor for me.
I hope you've made money this week and have a great weekend! Off for a bike ride and to install my child bike seat, ready to enjoy the good weather with the little one 🚵‍♀️🌞

Have you noticed how most people focus on the fact that trading is a scam, you can't make money or is too risky? But what about the fact that it's a highly paid profession? Surely those people aren't scammers and they're making tons of money!
You may not end up joining their club, and most likely you'll lose money in the beginning, but there's space for you to make money in the middle if you give it time, effort and patient.

This week the trading hours are different due to daylight savings in the US (same next week) so I took advantage of the occasion to trade less and it most definitely worked well to reset my mindset. 💆‍♀️
So I think I only traded 2 days, and even those days I entered 1 or 2 trades max. Result: I still got some great gains💥

Hello freedomers!
This trading week has been quite challenging for my mindset, so I haven't fully traded my strategy. I've made 0.5% gains trading to plan 3 out of 5 days, then on Thursday I made some silly psychological mistakes and on Friday I paused trading until the evening when I took 2 trades (once I finally got my trading confidence together again!).
I also started testing the emotional trading tracker I'm working on, pretty excited about it!! I'm hoping it helps both me and you getting better at trading. Wi-fives 🙌

There I said it!
Since I started this trading IG I have directly contacted social media traders with over 50 or even 100k followers and asked about their track record/a proof of their profitability, because I was really tempted to buy their products!
Sometimes the track record was used in their sales page, and yet, not a single one provided proof of profitability. The guy mentioning it his sales page even replied "what track record?" 🤦‍♀️😅
Some traders sound really great, but are they really? A good marketer is not necessarily a good trader. ✖️ in
Reality is that if the only person who can verify your profitability is you, than your "proven track record" is not proven 👩‍⚖️
