🌟 Reflecting on 2024: Turning Challenges into Strength 🌟

As the final hours of 2024 tick away, I'm taking a moment to pause and reflect. 2024 wasn’t the year I expected. It was one of the hardest years I’ve faced. Being signed off work with depression, losing my job during that time, and making the incredibly tough decision to pause my real estate activities so I could focus on my mental health and relationships—all of it pushed me to my limits.

But sometimes, stepping back is the strongest move we can make. Moving back to England for a few months to recover and reconnect with family in my home country reminded me of my resilience and the support system I’m so grateful for. Those months gave me the clarity I needed, not just to heal but to prepare for what’s next.

As 2025 approaches, I feel ready to dive back into my real estate dreams with fresh determination. Whether investing in Chicago or England, I’m excited to take the lessons, strength, and perspective I’ve gained this year and use them to build something incredible.

This property had just been SOLD etc and I’m thrilled with the ROI on this one. As a house hack it worked well- with one unit in the duplex rented out long term we lived in the other unit and made ourselves a home here for 2 years 🥰

I love these events I feel like I’m a part of a real community and the wealth of knowledge and thrown at us is truly mind boggling- I’ve been doing this a while now and I’m still finding out new things. I truly believe you can never stops learning.
