A Vietnamese journalist covering human rights issues, now finds herself behind bars, and her supporters feel that this is related to her work.

��After a one-day trial, she was found guilty of spreading "anti-state propaganda." 🤔��

She was brought from the metropolis of Hanoi to the southern province of Binh Duong, where she is currently serving a nine-year term.��

Journalists must never disregard the rights or dignity of the victims. Here are some rules that should always be kept in mind:��

✔️ Be sympathetic, but try not to say you understand what someone is going through. You don't, really.�

✔️ Don't use photos that reveal a person's name or location.�

✔️ Ask free-form questions. �

✔️ Don't tell them you'll keep them safe, relocate them, or find and punish the offender. Don't even think about it. Simply listen and assure them they can always count on your support.� ��
