Last week, ten Propel volunteers swapped their desks for a spot of gardening at Penny Brohn UK’s Bristol centre to help maintain the charity’s beautiful grounds, including raking the wildflower meadows.
Julie Warren, Propel Marketing and Partnerships Director, said: “We really enjoyed getting stuck in and supporting the fantastic work Penny Brohn UK does. We’re proud to support the charity and were delighted to donate a new hedge trimmer for their volunteer gardeners, purchased through Propel’s charity fund.”
Imogen Hirst, Penny Brohn UK Corporate Partnerships Manager, said: “It was fantastic to welcome the Propel team and see them getting stuck into the gardening. We’re incredibly grateful for their time, the donated hedge trimmer and their wider support for Penny Brohn UK.”
A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered and to Penny Brohn UK for the warm welcome. We look forward to continuing our support over the coming months.
