Ravenwood Guitars We build 'awesome' electric guitars that will make you drool. With the help of financial investors, we are able to live our dream.

What started out as a dream back in May 2013 has quickly become a reality and the Ravenwood train is set to grab attention in the next 12 months as we look to finally launch our brands to the UK market through our website (in the process of being built) and through music shops across the UK before heading into Europe and North America.

UPDATE

As you will have noticed, we haven't posted for a while. This is mostly due to the fact that we have not been successful as of yet in receiving funding to kick off the launch of our products.

In light of this, we have had to scale back our plans and we are now concentrating on one guitar and we are currently building the prototype. Once this has been completed, we will be approaching a number of UK music shops to start retailing these on our behalf.

Once we start building up the numbers, we will be releasing a much wider range of guitars.

We have also been informed by a potential investor that Hanson Guitars in the USA, have released a brand of guitars called 'Ravenswood' and this was done in 2013, the same year that we started. At the time of us starting, this brand did not exist so we can only assume that it was based on our brand and not the other way around.

We needed to make a choice as to whether we rebrand or stick with 'Ravenwood' and we think that we should stick with our brand as we have a legal date stamp of the brand in the form of a Ltd Company and we believe that our guitars will be far superior, especially from a visual perspective.

Happy New Year from all at Ravenwood. We hope that this is going to be a big year for us.

UPDATE

We are currently working on what is now going to be our first release into the market.

We are producing an RGC Strat in two colours, Fiesta Red and Carbon Grey and we will be making 30 of each (to start with), to go on sale, hopefully in March 2015.

Pictures should be going up in February 2015, as we are now winding down for Christmas.

Might build a new spray booth tomorrow. See what I feel like when I get up.

Feeling in the mood to spray a Strat body Candy Apple red with a white pick guard and black pickups and tone/volume controls.

We have some bad news about the 'Super LP' guitar we said we would post pictures of today. It arrived from the factory this evening and we weren't happy with the quality so we have sent it back.

Once we are happy with the quality, we will post pictures of it on here.
