"Not often I catch anything special but this 10lb 6oz tench was very special for me, my first 10lb'er and a new PB. I was over the moon with this fish. It even gave a great battle on my 10ft Hi s rods I thought it was a small carp for a while taking line and trying hard to get into the pads. Beautiful fish to end a run of blanks, I would definitely take the tench over a 30lb carp. 😁

"Having been a Free Spirit user for over 20 years, I can definitely say I've got total confidence in the rods. On a recent trip to Clavering Lakes in Essex in search of monster catfish, the CTX 12ft 3.5lb SU didn't let me down. I managed plenty of fish and got lucky with one of the bigger cats. The scales bottomed out at 60lb, so God knows how big she actually was, but she gave an epic fight for just under an hour!"
