We are happy to announce that the NFU Mutual Honley Agency has merged with the NFU Mutual Elland Agency. 📣
Bringing together two established teams to create a stronger, more dynamic presence across the region.
The newly formed NFU Mutual Honley and Halifax Agency combines deep local knowledge with a broader range of expertise, strengthening its ability to support customers with local, high-quality and personal service.
As part of the transition, Robert Nobles who was agent and partner at the Honley Agency, has retired from his role after a distinguished 35-year career. Robert will remain with the agency in a consultancy role until 2027, where he will be supporting both clients and colleagues through the merger.
Reflecting on his career, Robert said: "It's been an absolute privilege to work with and on behalf of our clients and members over the years. I am very fortunate in that as we move on to the next chapter we will still be amongst the community that we hold so dear. I am confident that Matthew, Emily, Joel and the team will continue to provide you with the service that you have come to expect and look forward to supporting them in this endeavour."
The newly merged agency will be led by Matthew Gummerson, Emily Mitchell and Joel Long who are the agents of the combined agencies who share a wealth of experience, knowledge and a shared ambition for future growth.
In the coming months, you may see some changes appearing on the paperwork you receive and moving forward you can speak to either office about your insurances.
