Hi all, apologies that I have been quiet on my page and finally I can let you know that I am moving on to pastures new. I am going to work as an Analyst with the NHS at University Hospitals for Coventry & Warwickshire with effect from 16th May.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with Mather & Murray and can’t begin to thank my Director Steve Murray enough for the opportunity, trust and support he has given me to be part of his amazing successful team.

I will continue to work with Steve as an introducer for financial services so if you are still considering:

Can you pay your bills on Statutory Sick Pay (SSP)?

With the news on Covid-19 restrictions being removed and the changes to SSP, many will be affected by choices to work or not (if positive for Covid) and if it’s the latter what do you have in place to ensure that you can continue to cover your outgoings & living?

Many will have 3, 6 or even 9 months employer covered sick pay at full or half salary but what happens when those periods end? Great to have a network of friends! My partner’s grandparents were unable to look after the little one today & good friends stepped in to help out last minute, which meant we can still get in to work and I can still keep my mortgage & insurance appointments! Whew 😅
