Before you start scrolling through properties in Fleet, Church Crookham and the surrounding villages, it’s worth getting three numbers clear:

What you can realistically borrow
How much deposit you’ll need
What buying a home is likely to cost you each month

An online calculator can give you a rough idea, but lenders will also look at things like existing commitments, loans, childcare costs and your overall circumstances.
