😊 PERSONAL POST 😊

Some of you may have noticed it’s been a bit quiet here over the last wee while. Truth be told I’ve had quite a few personal things going on and took some time off.

But I’m back and ready to help all my amazing clients ☺️ I know there have been some changes in the mortgage world since my last post (mainly with interest rates 🙈) but the good news is that some lenders have started bringing their rates down over the past week or so 😀 hopefully this is a sign of things to come 🤞🏼

Just received the loveliest gift from one of my clients 🥰 Chloe had a few blips on her credit due to losing her job earlier in the year and after being declined by her bank she thought it would be a while before she would be able to own her own home. However not all lenders are the same, and because I have access to a wide range of options, I was able to get Chloe a mortgage with a well known bank 🤩 she’s now just moved in to her gorgeous new flat 🔑💕

Before speaking to Amanda almost a year and a half ago, she had been told on several occasions that she wouldn’t be able to get a mortgage due to various reasons. However, after taking the time to get to know Amanda’s situation and researching different options, I was able to secure her a mortgage with a high street lender 🤩

And on Friday she picked up the keys to her lovely new family home where she will bring up her 3 gorgeous kids 🏡💕

🌟 HAPPY FRIDAY 🌟

✅ 1 mortgage application submitted

🏡 2 mortgages approved

🤩 3 decision in principles agreed - people are getting organised so that they’re ready to start their property search in Jan

🎉 AND I sold my own house after only being on the market for a week

✅ MORTGAGE APPROVED ✅

I submitted this clients mortgage application on Friday afternoon and it has been agreed today 🎉🎉

The client was on their lender’s variable rate and after getting in touch with me at the start of last week to check if she was entitled to a lower rate, I have been able to save her £105 per month 🤗

It is estimated that at least 1 in 4 homeowners are on their lender’s standard variable rate 😳 meaning that they are paying a much higher interest rate than necessary.

I know a lot of people were disappointed to learn that Help To Buy would not be returning. However a couple of months ago the Deposit Unlock scheme was launched 🙌🏼

It’s a scheme which allows you to purchase a new build property with as little as 5% deposit and is available to both first time buyers and home movers 🤩

Could not be happier for these clients!! 😁

It’s been a bit of a journey to say the least. They finally got their offer accepted on a property, mortgage agreed, house packed up and were ready to move when the seller unexpectedly pulled out 😱 however their persistence in looking for something else paid off and they weren’t long in finding another (even better) house 😍

I know the market is still a bit crazy right now but keep searching for your perfect home 🏡 you’ll find it eventually!
