Fantastic morning walk - 3.5 and 10 miles raising £440 for Nauka. Thank you to Alex Carmichael for leading 36 walkers without losing anyone! Thanks to the fabulous Lorraine and Steve at the Best Beech for feeding us all for free. Thanks to Neil who acted as our support vehicle to pick up anyone too tired to carry on (no-one was).

Simon, Graeme and myself (the Trustees of Nauka) would like to extend an enormous thank you to you all for supporting the fundraising efforts of Nauka on 11th June 2016. In total, income generated from the auction, the raffle and donations from people who were unable to attend the event amounted to £1865 - a phenomenal amount.

Nauka's plans for the relief of poverty or financial hardship by the empowerment of disadvantaged women (and their families) in Zambia is reliant on these fundraising efforts in order to get the work off the ground.

Happy International Women's Day. Join Simon and I on 11th June 2016 at the Neville Golf Club, Tunbridge Wells for dinner and a boogie. Tickets £45. All funds raised will contribute to the work of Nauka, helping disadvantaged women in Zambia through education, mentoring, training and support in starting up in business.

So it's here! Hampton Court Half Marathon. It's 6.20 (in reality 5.20!!!!). I'm dressed, race number on; 1898. Can't say I'm raring to go, but I have got coffee.
