Is it coming home? ⚽

With the World Cup just around the corner, we wanted to flag an important update for pubs and restaurants ahead of the home nations’ fixtures.

Licensing hours in England and Wales will be extended for home nations matches during the tournament.

What does this mean for DOA policies? 🤔

• We are being proactive and extending policy coverage to align with the additional licensed hours.
• Any licensing hours referenced within applicable entertainment conditions will extend accordingly, in line with the temporary legislative changes.

What brokers should do ✅

• Please ensure your clients are aware of any entertainment-related conditions that may apply to their policy.
• Encourage policyholders to confirm they are operating within the revised licensing framework.
