Yesterday, Tyne & Esk bid a fond farewell to Anne Hastie after 11 dedicated years. From LAG Member to Vice-Chair and Co-Chair, Anne’s wealth of knowledge and wisdom has been a cornerstone of our programme. Provost John McMillan joined us in thanking Anne and wishing her all the best with her “retirement portfolio”.
Anne, you’ve been a true strength to Tyne & Esk—it won’t be the same without you.

Trial Classes ✅️ What a weekend! 🎉

None of this would be possible without this man and his incredible team at Reywood Construction. Over the past few years, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to bring our dream to life, and the team at Reywood have been right there with us—creating this fantastic space from the ground up. We're just missing one from this picture!

We’ve got a few finishing touches to add and some final tweaks to make, but overall, it was an amazing first weekend in our new home. 💛 We can’t wait to welcome you all soon!

Congratulations to Our Community Kitchen East Lothian for the opening of their Garden at Tynebank Resource Centre, on Sunday 28th July 2024. Tyne & Esk CLLD funded the garden with the purchase of a polytunnel, potting shed, compost bins, solar power irrigation, raised beds and other items to transform the garden into a growing area. The items purchased have allowed the garden to produce vegetables that will be used for meals.
