A great day celebrating the Benefact Group at the Tower of London. Access Insurance Services were hosting the Charity Founder of the Year Award. We had 3 great finalists: Jenny Rayner from The Lucy Raymer Foundation, Maggie Darling from Smart Works Scotland and Andrew Wallis from Unseen. Congratulations to Andrew for winning this year’s award.

Take part in our 12 Days of Giving by nominating your favourite charities to be in with a chance of winning £1000.

We'll be giving 120 charities £1000 each, over 12 days, with draws beginning on December 1st and the last being on December 16th.

On Thursday 2nd October, some brave colleagues from Access Insurance are taking on an exhilarating abseil challenge! We'll be plummeting down Sunley House to raise vital funds for Croydon Commitment. This isn't just about facing heights; it's about making a tangible difference right here in our local community.

Croydon Commitment is a charity that acts to link businesses with meaningful volunteering and assisting other charities in the area.

The Charity Heroes Awards is:

➡️ An event that’s all about celebrating charities.
➡️ Has no cost to attend. In fact, Benefact Group will donate to shortlisted charities just for participating!
➡️ Category winners will receive a £5,000 donation to their charity, with runners-up receiving £1,000 donations.
➡️ Simple entry process for a series of categories, which just require a 250-word pitch. Categories are super easy to enter, requiring just a 250-word pitch.
➡️ The awards will be hosted at the iconic Tower of London in the 20th November 2025, providing a fantastic experience that charities truly deserve.

Following the first Charity Heroes Awards awards ceremony last November being a success, they are back again this year, with entries now open!

Access Insurance Services will be supporting the Charity Founder of the Year at Benefact Group's Charity Heroes Awards again this year. Do you know an inspirational CEO or Senior Manager who has championed a cause and inspired change?

Judges will be looking for founders who have used their drive and passion to create organisations making a lasting and meaningful difference for beneficiaries.

The process has been designed to be as easy as possible – charities simply need to send in 250 words on why their charity/person should win. Winners in each category will win a £5,000 donation for their charity and runners up will receive a £1,000 donation.

Applications close on Sunday 10th August. Winners will be announced at a lunchtime awards ceremony at the Tower of London on Thursday 20th November.

Nominations for the Benefact Group's Children & Young People Special Draw is now open today for 7 days until 22nd June. Funding of £5,000 will be given to 10 incredible charities dedicated to supporting young people across the UK.
