If you have a contract with GO Power ( Formerly LCC) then you should already know you are now on the variable rate and NOT on the agreed fixed rate you signed up for as GO Power base STOPPED all fixed contracts as costs have risen.

Over the past few months we have seen a steady increase on the cost of wholesale electricity prices and with the continued uncertainty over Brexit we believe this trend is most likely going to continue.

With Brexit and the "no deal" situation causing uncertainty and the wholesale gas market pushing the cost of the electricity up we are in for a prolonged period of price rises so it is important that we get you onto a fixed energy rate as soon as we can.

If your current contract is due to expire within the next few months you will be contacted by your current supplier offering you a ‘DEAL’ to help cut costs. PLEASE NOTE deals that are being offered are on variable rates and WILL COST you money in the longer term as most suppliers try to take customers away from fixed rates.

An example of this is GO POWER who are taking ALL CUSTOMERS of fixed rates and placing them on variable rates as they are limiting their exposure to continuing price rises over the next two years.

We will always act in your best interest and ensure we get the best deal at that time.

As soon as permitted by law, we will seek quotes for your approval and again I must emphasise speed in returning any documents is essential as we have already seen suppliers cancel quotes inside one day of being issued as wholesale prices have increase by such a margin the suppliers fear a long term loss.

We have attached a link below to illustrate the fear facing suppliers and help you understand our concerns going forward.

PLEASE NOTE should you be contacted by anyone other than Darran or myself claiming to be acting on our behalf please hang up and inform us of the call.

Thank you for your continued support and we hope we can go on saving you money with or without a Brexit deal.

Europe’s natural gas prices have risen to their strongest level for this time of year, lifting the cost of electricity for factories and utilities.

Well it finally happened, Mrs May got out her Mont Blanc pen and signed the letter.
Within an hour energy prices started raising and it is predicted a 17% hike is on the cards for commercial users.
We have done our best for OUR clients this week by ensuring as may as possible are locked into a good deal, but you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink and when the market opens on Monday we are expecting big changes.

Give us a shout and get your business locked in so you can weather the storm.

Just incase anyone in business has missed it, energy prices raising by as much as 20% so get locked into a deal NOW. Don't say we did not warn you all.

Wholesale energy prices have dropped by over 27% in the past few months but suppliers are slow to introduce the full savings across the the board. We are all waiting to see how the Brexit vote will impact on our energy costs, remember the major players are owned by the French and soon even the Chinese.
We wait on the Tories to make the final decision that will undoubtedly cost us all in some way or other.
We will keep you posted and advise on how your business can secure the best prices going forward.

All business owners please be aware NIE are currently changing all meters to a digital models.
It is essential you take meter readings prior to the change as a number of customers have received large bills based on the old meter reading. This leaves you at the mercy of NIE to investigate the accuracy of the readings and accuracy of the meters themselves should you dispute your bill following the change.
Take a reading and make sure to send it to your supplier to avoid any nasty surprises later.
Do it now and take a photo with your phone.
