Before a lot of the team headed off on their well deserved summer holidays 🛫 we managed to squeeze in a BBQ 🌭 🍔 to celebrate our new office space and also had time to remember how important it is to have time together away from the computers and phones 💛

Thank you to 👨🏼‍🍳 Oliver Bayston for putting on a wonderful spread, the food was 10/10 🎖️ and everyone is eagerly awaiting the next one!

☀️ It's been a busy summer here Mutual South Cotswolds our first full team face to face team meeting was held in our new office a few weeks ago ☀️

This meant it was time to award our quarterly 🎁 'vouchers for values' 🎁

⭐ The first award for Positivity went to Jenny Ball
⭐ The next award for Keeping Promises went to Katharine Wright
⭐ The next award for Ambition went to Hannah Bound
⭐ The final award for Forging Connections went to Jake Roope

🤩 Well done all, it's great to see so many nominations for team members demonstrating our values both in the office and whilst out with clients 🤩

This year we also introduced our first NFU Mutual South Cotswolds Anniversary award, this is chosen by the Agents to go to a team member who demonstrates and truly lives all of our values each and every day whilst making the most of each and every opportunity 🤩 well done Louise Greenoff as our 2026 winner!

A great day was had at The Berkeley Show on the beautiful Berkeley Estate overlooked by Berkeley Castle this Sunday as main sponsor 🚜 🐄

🌟 It's a very exciting day for us here at NFU Mutual South Cotswolds 🌟

We have opened the doors to our new office in the beautiful village of Sherston, our Wotton-under-Edge and Chippenham offices have now closed.

NFU Mutual South Cotswolds Agency will now have three office locations, with our existing offices in Swindon and Thornbury remaining open as usual, and the addition of the new Sherston office. These will provide excellent coverage across our core geographical area, maintaining our strong local presence. Importantly, this will enable us to continue to provide the local personal service that we know members value so highly.

The investment in our new Sherston office represents our commitment to serving an ever growing number of customers, their businesses and their families, both today and well into the future. Set within a rural village environment, whilst being easily accessible to host visitors, the move provides us with a modern dynamic office space with superb facilities for our ever growing team.

Thank you to those involved in getting us here we are over the moon with our new home 💛

A busy few days was had for the 2026 Badminton Horse Trials 🐎

It was a pleasure to host Badminton Estate tenant farmers on Friday afternoon for a drinks reception, it was great to see many familiar faces and to be introduced to some new, we were also very lucky that the weather held out!

🌟 The countdown is on 🌟 - one month today Mark Constable and Kirsty Constable will be running the London Marathon! Training is well and truly underway 🏃 🏅 🏃🏼‍♀️

They are running in aid of the RNIB Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB), the UK's leading sight loss charity. The charity have supported their niece, Mollie, who was born with bilateral corneal segment digenesis anomaly making her blind. Mollie, who has recently turned 7 and has never let this hold her back, has undergone several operations at Great Ormond Street Hospital, including a corneal transplant, which has given her a small amount of sight.

Everyday 250 people begin to lose their sight in the UK. RNIB's focus is to create a world where there are no barriers to people with sight loss. Every step along the 26.2 miles will be for Mollie and all the other incredible people that have lived with lost vision.
