World Epilepsy Day 2026 complete!!!

A huge thank you to all who helped us raise over £400 yesterday for Epilepsy Action, and to those who managed to find something purple to wear in support 💜

World Epilepsy Day – Thursday 26th March

World Epilepsy Day will take place this year on Thursday 26th March. To show our support, staff here at ActiveQuote will be encouraged to wear purple, and we will be holding a raffle, with all proceeds donated to Epilepsy Action.

Epilepsy is far more common than many people realise. Simply talking about World Epilepsy Day has already sparked many conversations here at ActiveQuote, including our very own Rod Jones sharing his experience of living with epilepsy. Hearing personal experiences helps us better understand the realities of the condition.

While talking about epilepsy is important, living with it can be a very different experience. Sharing knowledge and understanding what to do if someone has a seizure can make a real difference, and Rod has kindly shared helpful guidance with us, which we are very grateful for.

Who doesn’t love a giant cheque photo opportunity 📸💙

A huge thank you to Emma Prince from Velindre Cancer Centre Fundraising, who took the time to visit us yesterday and personally thank the team for our 2025 fundraising efforts.

Emma shared her sincere appreciation for everything we’ve done as a company and was incredibly grateful for such a fantastic donation.

Raising £10,761.70 for Velindre Cancer Centre in 2025 was no small feat—but we loved every minute of it. We’re incredibly proud of what’s been achieved and are excited to continue supporting Velindre as our local charity throughout 2026.

Here’s to doing even more good together 🙌💙

It is with great pride that we can officially announce that our 2025 charity efforts have raised £10,761.70 for Velindre Cancer Centre.

This incredible achievement would not have been possible without everyone who supported us—whether by attending organised events such as the AQ Charity Golf Day or taking part in challenges like AQ’s Endurance Walk, to name just a few.

We would like to thank each and every one of you for your generosity, commitment, and support.

Volunteering Day at Velindre Cancer Centre

Giving back and supporting the local community is important to us here at ActiveQuote, so when the opportunity presented itself to support Velindre at their Christmas po-up shop we jumped at the chance. While raising money for Velindre is something we do all year round, as they are our 2025 Charity Partner, being able to support them in this way was extra special.

A huge thanks to Louise Daley, Jasmine Edwards and Rio Rasool for using their volunteer day and helping out last Thursday. Your collective efforts helped raise £220.00!
