We are a small Piling Company based in Burnham-on-Crouch looking for a
Buyer/Transport Manager.
Due to the size of the company, we are looking for an all-rounder, preferably someone with experience in the construction industry and running transport where you have been in a hands on role before.
This is a varied position whereby you will be purchasing concrete supplies, workshop parts and organising lorries for site movements.
Hours for the role are 8.30 am till 5pm Monday to Friday.

Buyer Responsibilities:-
• Buying and vendor selection (seeking alternatives as standard)
• Managing external sub-contractors
• Cost optimisation
• Lead time planning

Skills needed:-
• A strong background in Managing Transport
• Analytically and numerically astute
• Commercial and financial awareness with an understanding of how failure impacts production
• Full clean driving licence is essential
