I've had a few calls recently about issues with conveyancing services and it all seems to be the "local" firms that people use that are getting the poor service! These firms charge a bit more than some online based firms or firms based in other parts of the country... But what are you getting for your extra money??? That's the question I pose to my clients when they are looking for a conveyancer.

Yes, I may be bias, because we have a panel that we use and have agreements with, but out of the 29 firms on that panel, only a handful would I actually recommend to a client.

Don't look for cheap, but don't assume that paying more will get you a better service... Because, in most cases, it doesn't!

Speak to an adviser about conveyancing, as they are in the market now, they know which firms work well, who aren't very good and who are competitive with pricing.

With news of US military action in Iran, many people are understandably worried about what it could mean for the UK economy — especially inflation and fuel prices.

📈 Conflict in the Middle East often leads to rising oil prices, which can drive up the cost of fuel, energy, and everyday goods. If inflation rises again, the Bank of England may delay cutting interest rates — or even raise them — which could impact mortgage rates.

💬 If your mortgage product is due to expire soon, now is a good time to speak to your adviser and book a review.
