Over the past year, the main focus for our Agency Services & Operations team has been on improving our processes.

We’ve created training programmes to support our staff and help us work smarter, as well as focusing on initiatives that impact not only how we deliver our events but also our local community.

We take our impact on the environment and the wellbeing of our staff seriously. This is reflected in our B Corp commitment to employee care:

🏖️ The small things can make a big difference, so we give our staff an extra day off after busy periods.
☀️ During the summer, we have ‘early finish Fridays’, allowing the team to sign off at 3pm and enjoy more time with their family and friends.
👣 We implement eco-friendly platforms that help us reduce our carbon footprint.
🥂 We enhance employee recognition programmes and celebrate our achievements.

We are very aware of just how unsustainable the events industry is, and this was one of the driving forces behind OrangeDoor wanting to become a Certified B Corporation®.

Our Events & Exhibitions team have worked hard to reevaluate how they can implement their work in the most sustainable way possible, from working with recyclable materials and locally sourced food, to looking at creating a roadshow style element to their events, so we can reuse resources multiple times.

The B Corp mindset is behind every decision we make, and our team is always mindful of the impact these decisions have on people, planet and profit. What does this look like in our day to day?

♻️ We always consider sustainable methods of transport and work with local suppliers.

♻️ We generate as little waste as possible on our events by working with food waste charities and ensuring where possible we recycle build materials.

♻️ We also actively select suppliers who are produce creative solutions and are environmentally friendly.

Well B Corp has always been in our DNA, but becoming a Certified B Corporation® has allowed us as a company to be braver, to be bolder and to push the boundaries further, whilst the creativity and agility it has given to both our thinking and our ‘doing’ has been extraordinary.

When challenged to design, curate and deliver a large stand space at a flagship European tech exhibition, our attention was on delivering a booth in a sustainable manner, whilst mirroring our client’s core values.
